The Organization

Known for its collaborative culture, operational discipline, and commitment to quality, the company specializes in commercial, institutional, and industrial electrical systems.

Core Responsibilities

Budget Development: Develop electrical budgets during SD and DD phases
Detailed Estimates: Prepare detailed takeoffs and CD estimates
Document Review: Review drawings, specifications, and conceptual documents
Pricing Evaluation: Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
Risk Identification: Identify scope gaps, risks, and cost opportunities
Value Engineering: Provide value-engineering recommendations
Collaboration: Collaborate with design teams and project managers
Cost Data Maintenance: Maintain estimating benchmarks and cost data

Qualifications

Estimating Experience: Strong electrical estimating experience in commercial construction
System Understanding: Understanding of electrical systems and construction methods
Budgeting Experience: Experience with conceptual budgeting and CD estimating
Software Proficiency: Proficiency with Accubid, Conest, Bluebeam, or Procore
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills

Requirements

Trade Background: Electrical trade background or engineering experience
Estimating Experience: Experience estimating from design through construction documents

The Role
