Production Manager

The Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Production Manager will have responsibility for the overall performance of the fabrication operation.

Core Responsibilities

Production Planning: Production planning and scheduling
Resource Utilization: Labor, equipment, and material utilization
Performance Oversight: Quality, safety, cost, and productivity
Team Leadership: Leadership of supervision and maintenance teams
KPI Management: Production KPIs and continuous improvement
Process Improvement: Improving manufacturing methods and project flow
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaboration with estimating, purchasing, logistics, quality, HR, and executive leadership

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a proven steel fabrication leader with deep operational experience who understands both the people and production sides of the business.

Qualifications

Industry Experience: Significant leadership experience within steel fabrication
Management Experience: Strong production and personnel-management experience
Plan Reading: Ability to read plans and fabrication drawings
Analytical Skills: Strong operational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Continuous Improvement: Experience driving continuous improvement
Leadership Presence: The leadership presence to operate as a key member of the management team
